LITERACY COACHING COHORT #2
Join a diverse group of educators invested in learning about and supporting literacy leadership and coaching! As a collaborative, we will experience three immersive multi-day sessions throughout the year. As a participant, you will observe, learn, and practice coaching, all within the dynamic context of real classrooms.

Coaching Support
A coaching effort is more than the appointment of a coach: it is the work of a team of people invested in the power of coaching.
Coaching Support includes:​​

Advice and guidance for administrators, leaders, and coaches on systems and practices that provide clarity and purpose, and foster a culture of coaching

Coaching on coaching - roles, responsibilities, planning, action, and reflection.

Support for coaches as they navigate coaching challenges and hone their craft

Evaluating and refining existing coaching structures to align with divisional and/or school-wide goals.

Curriculum Support
Curriculum development is more than writing unit plans: it is a commitment to evolving how we think, teach, and learn.
Curriculum Support includes:

Collaborative planning that helps teachers design learning experiences grounded in conceptual understanding and authentic inquiry

Guidance on unit and lesson design that prioritizes depth over coverage, and cultivates transferable thinking

Support for teachers as they reflect on and refine their practice to align with educational goals, the school's mission, and student needs

Strategies for designing concept-driven learning that invites students to explore diverse contexts, build knowledge, and make meaningful connections across disciplines, cultures, and the human experience—while leveraging teachers’ deep expertise in their content areas and grade levels
